Seeing your imagination

Outfit Details:

dress - Thakoon for Target, necklace - Jacob, belt - Costa Blanca, shoes - Joe Fresh

Last night, Maya woke up in the middle of the night disoriented and half asleep.

"Look Mommy, do you see it?"

What?

"The flying thing over there!" and she reached out to grab it (which would be air).

The next morning, she woke and asked me again if I saw it.  I told her that she must've been dreaming because there was nothing.

"I woke up, and I could see my imagination. It was a flying machine, and it was medium-sized and it was brown and made pooting noises (Mommy LOL here). I felt it and it felt like nothing! Then it disappeared, and I closed my eyes so that I could wake up for the next day... which is today! Did you see it Mommy?"

It must've been so vivid to leave an impression like that, and I believe this may be the first dream that Maya actively remembers. I wish I could see too.

"It's so cool. I didn't know it was my imagination in the beginning. I thought it was real life!"

Get that girl writing - she can be an author! Dress looks great- I tried it on a million times but didn't look good on me - love it with the belt!

Ugh, I so regret not getting that dress! You look smashing!

And don't you kind of miss being a kid sometimes and being open to "seeing" so much more than just what's there? ;o)

@carly - Thanks, she is pretty amazing and I love how her little mind thinks

@peggy - An author in the family... that would be so cool! This dress only looks good on me with the belt. But for $10, I don't mind at all!

@lisa - Thanks! I so wish I could see like a kid again. I'll look at something and see what it is, but kids see all the possibilities.

@dea - Thanks! I actually found this on the clearance rack about two weeks ago. So you might just luck out!
